The Texas Urban Sawmill is a small family owned business and a Texas public Benefit company. As a benefit company, we hold ourselves to a higher standard for accountability and transparency than a traditional for-profit business, and aim to use our business as a force for good. We are diverse team full of passion with an immense desire to have an impactful positive change. Our team consists of two engineers, a school teacher, an ex-professional athlete, an Army military veteran, a certified arborist, all our kids, and some fantastic sawmill dogs.

We believe passionately in the power of building functional and beautiful wood products from locally fallen and dead trees to inspire community involvement, job creation, and positively influence attitudes, lives and, ultimately, our environment.
